The theme song is a song heard in Animated Inanimate Battle. It is a near-one-minute chiptune that - as the title suggests - is the show's theme song which plays during the intro. This song is also referenced in some episodes.
This song first appeared in "Smarter & Boulder" and was unveiled to the public earlier on May 31st, 2020. Prior to the episode, the show did not have an intro, simply displaying a title screen in the case of "An Ice Beginning."
As of "Sun Blocked" onwards, the theme song was slightly rearranged.
It has been replaced by the Season 1B Theme Song for Season 1B.

Trivia[]

Comparison between the beta version of the intro and the final version.
- In the AIB Crew Q&A video, a version of the intro was shown that appears to have been made before the hiatus, considering it used assets from "The Pilot". There are a few differences to note between this and the official release version of the intro.
- The start of the beta version of the intro says "ROBERT JOHNSTON Presents..." instead of "GATLINGGROINK57 PRESENTS..."
- There is a shadow under Oodle in the beta version of the intro.
- When Oodle is seen drifting in space in the beta version, there is text below him that reads "A BRAND NEW "OBJECT" SHOW". In the final version, there is text above him reading "A SHOW INSPIRED BY Battle for Dream Island".
- There is a separate shot for when Oodle gets sucked into a portal leading into the Blank Slate. In the final version, a portal simply appears in the previous shot and sucks Oodle in, and the shot after shows him traveling into the Blank Slate.
- Everyone still uses their assets from "The Pilot". While Brain and Bouncy Ball do use their old assets in the final version, they're used briefly.
- When Oodle lands in the Blank Slate in the beta version, he's in the middle of a crowd consisting of some of the contestants. In the final version, he lands next to Brain and Bouncy Ball.
- Tivo was absent in the beta version.
