"I'm coming, just give me a second" - Pear, An Ice Beginning
Pear is a male contestant in Animated Inanimate Battle. He was a member of Team 5 but he got eliminated in Fartists.
Appearance[]
He is a wide pear with a brown stem and a leaf and has wavy shading. In the Doodleverse, he becomes a green outline of body and his stem is green.
Redesign[]
In Season 1B, Pear did not receive a redesign, However as in the Doodleverse, His middle segment is colored, His limbs are light black, & his stem is made darker.
Personality[]
Pear is lazy, sleepy, and essentially the prime definition of what a couch potato is. He is extremely lazy with whatever he needs to do, always prefering to take the route that requires the least amount of effort as possible from him.
He is by far the contestant that cares about competition the least, not really caring on doing his best on any of the challenges he did so far, and always giving up easily on whatever task he is up to do.
He enjoys napping and sleeping (a lot, actually), so much so that he usually does that for most of his day, frequently being seen taking a nap on top of a rock or on the floor.
Regardless of his lazy attitude, Pear is later seen (by the end of Get A Grip and especially at the beginning of Fartists) that he is somewhat stubborn, rude and even sarcastic at times.
Pear also shows a big dislike towards Oodle, claiming that Oodle (alongside his gameshow) is to blame for the current sequence of events and for all the drama happening, that Oodle and the show are both pointless, that he has no friends, and that the only reason why everyone respects him is just because of his powers and semi-divine position.
On that same occasion (in Fartists), Pear ends up quitting the show by himself (being so far the only contestant to do so), and thus ended up being sent to the Doodleverse by Oodle, with him quitting the show on a bad note, although it is unknown if he knew that by quitting he would be forced into the Doodleverse.

- Pear is mostly seen asleep, just like Raisin.
- In Smarter & Boulder when walking up the mountain he hums the intro music of AIB.
- He was kicked out of the show due to saying that Oodle and the show are pointless.
- Pear is the first contestant to quit the show.
- He is the 2nd food contestant to be eliminated.
- It is thought that Pitchfork got more votes than he did.
