The Pilot[]
In The Pilot, Nine suggests to lick Oodle while he is in a commatose state. Despite Frisbee's protesting and Antimatter stating he doesn't have a tongue, Nine licks Oodle anyway to everyone's disgust. He states that Oodle tastes like chicken. He is about to show his second tongue, before being pushed away by Antimatter. He hides alongside everyone in the pile once Oodle wakes up and greets Antimatter once they are outside of Oodle's guts.
An Ice Beginning[]
In An Ice Beginning, Nine says to Oodle that they doesn't want to go through the team-randomization, Oodle says that they will receive a cookie in exchange. Nine says "Deal!" and immediately eats the cookie on Oodle's arm as Oodle yells in eldritch horror. Later on when Nine gets picked on Team 3, Nine gets attention on the difference to Cork and asks; Cork says that it was an accident. Nine suggests that they want to lick the ice blocks but Oodle highly suggests not to lick it. Nine makes a brief appearance during the challenge as they were only shown reacting to Teabag's first death with a blank expression. Their team won.
Smarter & Boulder[]
In Smarter & Boulder, Nine's team doesn't appear during the challenge until Team 2 finishes. He is seen in Telescope's visualisation of the challenge pushing the boulder using his tongue and cheering for Bone's "pushing of air particles". He is the first member of Team 3 to peek from behind the boulder after pushing it onto the mountain, exclaiming - possibly sarcastically - his excitement towards reaching mediocrity by getting 4th place in the challenge. His team won in 4th place, as he announced so.
Get A Grip[]
In Get A Grip, Nine confronts Antimatter on them not having limbs, to which he is later shown disturbed seeing Antimatter reveal their appendages and loses consciousness, remaining so while being shown alongside the rest of his team. He briefly wakes up while Oodle puts everyone to sleep to remind the viewer of this. After the contestants wake up within their claw machines, Nine questions the reality of the show and events during it, to which he is disproven by Cork. Before Bone is revealed as Team 3's operator, Nine has an uncannily large grin on his face. Nine boos him alongside the rest of his team, and is later confused to see Bone win so quickly. He is then the first person to show kindness to Bone, exlaiming that Team 3 (which at the time, in reality, was likely only him) thinks he's cool now, to which he is dismissed by Salami. He "softly" passes on getting Cinnamon Bun from Cork, picking her up with his tongue and passing her to Mitten. Near the end of the episode, he is shown surrounding Cinnamon Bun with the rest of his team, screaming alongside them as well. His team won in 1st place.
Fartists[]
In Fartists, Nine is seen after the intro climbing up Team 2 mountain with the rest of his team, confusing Salami's line "in this game, numbers are important" as a reference to him. In every mountain scene afterwards, he has his usual unserious faces, until screaming with the rest of his team and running away from one of Team 2's boulders. Nine is then shown in shock and then tears up on Salami's shoulder (?) after Cork got flattened, thinking he died. He is then excited and has sparkly eyes after Cork reveals he is in fact not dead. During the elimination, Nine asks Oodle for one of his cookies which are Team 5's safety prizes. Oodle gives him the tray, which Nine happily slams on his face, likely afterwards falling unconscious. During the paint monster's attack, Nine is stood next to Blanket and Fireball, when a paint flies through his counter. Nine then gets splashed with green paint, which he licks himself clean from, permanently staining his tongue green. During the challenge, Nine tries to draw using Brick, then stops when he protests. He comes up to Mitten/Cinnamon Bun and Recycling Bin arguing, but doesn't say anything, and is then shown with the rest of his team while Mitten ties Cinnamon Bun to a pole next to Roe. Later, Nine comes up to Bone as he is drawing Shot Put and Glassy, asking him if he will draw for the challenge. which he then does, as Nine spectates alongside the rest of Team 3. He is shown cheering for Bone again after the team gets a full score from Farty. His team won in 2nd place.
Sun Blocked[]
In Sun Blocked, Nine is shown in the beginning dragging his tongue on the floor due to the heat, then wiping sweat off of himself using it, splattering it onto Cork. He is one of 5 people shown looking at Tivo's screen after the sun was impaled. He approaches Bone to ask if he notices Nine's new design, which Bone compliments. Bone appears to be the only one who noticed, prompting Nine to call him "such a good friend", triggering Telescope. During Bone's conversation with Red Eyes, Nine is shown on Bone's drawing alongside the rest of Team 3. Telescope stops Nine and the rest of Team 3 to run after the sun piece alone. He is shown behind Farty while combusting Album runs at him and dies in the explosion. After being recovered, he is shown excited to see the sun back while standing next to the rest of his team. His team won in 5th place.
This is the first episode in which Nine's new design appears, which has a straightened stem.
