"Would you say you're... red hot?" - Fireball to Pitchfork, An Ice Beginning
Fireball is a female contestant in Animated Inanimate Battle. She's a member of Team 5.
Appearance[]
Fireball is a red ball of fire, with shades of gold and orange.
Redesign[]
In Season 1B, Fireball did not receive a redesign, only outline adjustments.
Personality[]
Fireball is a wildcard, often acting aggressively and in a "crazy" way towards others. She is someone who wants to have nothing but fun, and likes to mess around with people (which sometimes may or may not freak others out) and is a big daredevil herself.
She often shows murderous thoughts, and (believe it or not), is not hesitant to share them out loud with others, and even goes as far as trying to engage in murderous acts, such as when she tried multiple times to bust Apricot open to reach his center. She is very prone to say unnerving things, mostly all directly towards Apricot.
Fireball also seems to be rather socially unaware, affectionally messing around with Apricot, and not realizing that he isn't comfortable at all with the jokes she makes directed at him, and also how he doesn't really see Fireball as his friend, that is up until Sun Blocked, where Apricot told Fireball that she didn't even ask about his interests to begin with.
Despite this, she cares about the game a lot, often trying to come up with solutions for her team in challenges (no matter how goofy or insane said solutions might be).
She has big sentimental value with her special pickaxe (as she kindly nicknamed it, Mr. Pickaxe), which she earned as a prize for being the last one standing in An Ice Beginning. Fireball becomes extremely distressed and sad when separated from it, being barely even able to calm down if she doesn't manage to get it back. She takes him everywhere she goes, treating it as if it were a person and even hallucinating Mr. Pickaxe talking to her.
Abilities[]
- Fire Body: Fireball is able to burn and melt things with not just her body, but her limbs as well, as seen when she burns Chip Bag with her feet and the first pickaxe Oodle gives to her into ash. This is contrary to [1]Firey from BFDI, a similarly designed character who cannot do that.
- Light Flare: She is able to control the temperature of her flames, flaring to a hotter, blue color if given enough force, like a sneeze. This is seen in Sun Blocked when she briefly flares up to light the cave.
- Lighting: Due to fire having a special type of element, Fireball can emit light.
Weaknesses[]
- Water: Because she's made of fire, she can get extinguished to her finish from the water, just like in An Ice Beginning when she jumps into the ocean when Oodle tells her to get on shore without telling her to hop on his speedboat.
- Methane: Because she's made of fire, if she touches methane, she can explode.
- Attachment Issues: As seen above, due to having attachment issues with her pickaxe (as confirmed in Fartists), Fireball will be awfully depressed after losing Mr. Pickaxe.

The Pilot[]
In her debut, Fireball did not have much of a role. She attempted to cut Oodle with a stick because she was curious about his blood. However he smacks the stick from her (this also would of been pointless due to him being unable to get harmed).

- She was the first victor in the game, winning the challenge for her team in An Ice Beginning.
- Her temperature is the highest out of any contestant, second place goes to Pitchfork when she is mad.
- She was a debuter in F-L-R-N's now-cancelled camp, 'Battle for Gold Palace', along with Apricot, Bone, Brick, Package and Telescope.
- She can glow in the dark, like Antimatter and Glowstick.
- Her species is similar to Firey from BFDI.
- She is the third person to blush.
